Tiia! Your eye is fantastic! Now to figure out how to visit Finland! Seriously, even the non-featured pieces that I could pick out from the general shop photos looked intriguing (that squarish black bag and the knit boatneck on the window mannequin!). Thanks for the 👀 into a part of your world!
Just as I’d have imagined your shop to be like, all such beautiful and quality pieces. That patchwork bomber is insane! What is the name of your shop, by the way? I miss seeing you on IG! Just saying.
Thanks Christina! My shop is called Pieni Sydän Second Hand. (Pieni sydän means 'little heart', and it comes from a well-known old Finnish tango of the same name: https://youtu.be/houO_ucdLWw?si=a7WryOItETLf9ZpO
I almost want to punch myself for not finding out about your shop when I lived in Finland 😭 all these items are gorgeous! I'll definitely visit whenever I come back to Finland
What a beautiful shop, Tiia! So happy you introduced us to it. I'm so taken by the pieces, especially the two looks on the mannequins in the front store window! You're a wonderful curator!
Those Vuokko dresses, even just the description of 'wool muslin' is making my heart beat a bit faster. I love how vintage shows us how clothes can be made differently (and for the better). Your shop is every bit as lovely and well-curated as I'd imagined (that men's suede jacket! that leather coat!) and is the kind of shop that every city/town should dream of having.
That striped long line blazer is fantastic. Love the strong elegant silhouette it creates! Envision a blazer like this with everything from slouchy denim, worn layered over a tee and shorts, and as a mini dress over statement tights. That Jil Sander bag is an amazing timeless find, too!
I think my wallet should be very grateful I am on the other side of the world!
I’m sure Tiia does worldwide shipping! 🤣 right, tiia? I sure hope so!
Shush you devil 😂

Thank you! <3
Oh that Jil Sandler! How how how did no one snap that up!
I know! I don't understand it. Sometimes people just don't know what's good for them!
This is absolutely lovely!!!! Love your eye for vintage 💜
Thank you so much! <3

I so wish I could visit!
That would be amazing!

I love this tour and love the way you describe the pieces, with such knowledge.

I was so excited to see this subject line in my inbox this morning! I hope you will continue give us readers a peak into your shop from time to time!
You make me want to plan a trip to Helsinki! Wonderful eye and I loved this little taste of the shop.
What a treat!! I hope to see that Mongolian leather jacket on the streets of New York one day ;-)
